Two days before Christmas package bombs were delivered to the Greek, Chilean and Swiss embassies in Rome allegedly by “an anarchist group, the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire”. Now a motorcycle-bomb has struck a courthouse in Greece in what police suspect is a protest against the trial of the Cells of Fire suspects. Because of a warning call, nobody was hurt. According to USA Today, in an article full of irony, European anarchists are growing more organized as people suffer from declining levels of state welfare. Even more fecklessly, USA has situated anarchy as a movement within the Left.

“It’s all about the children, but never quite the way we think, as sacrificial rite,” says Richard Fernandez, as one can see by scrolling down the article this post is linked to. Those with faith always sacrifice their children. Why is God an embittered anti-Semite? Because Abraham ended child sacrifice, as I explain in my poem:

That was a surprise. From the post’s title I guessed it to be about the NYC Sanitation Dept.
Left “anarchists” are government astroturf: See my post http://blog.jim.com/politics/astroturf-%E2%80%9Canarchism%E2%80%9D.html

@ James A. Donald:
that groups advocating violence are often penetrated by government agents is true, that the agents will provoke the group and instigate violent acts is also true, that there are no violent groups calling themselves anarchists runs counter to my experience.
I think where Mr. Donald – in the post of his own that he links – is on to something is that the the protesters in Greece, as in Britain, and perhaps someday coming to a Fox affiliate near you, represent the state divided against itself. However, the state is not the same thing as the “government,” and is bigger even than the “public administration” (which is also different from the “government”). The protests represent one faction of the state with a different vision than another faction. The protesters are in general, at least at this stage of the conflict, quite aware that the police are “like” them. They have no desire to hurt individual police officers as individuals.
So of course it’s all “theater.” Greece is not in a revolutionary situation and may never again be. The theater warns of potential more “realistic” performances later on if the state continues to re-configure itself in a way that the protesters oppose, but even on the day that the hordes descended on Athens and declared a People’s Republic or Anarchist Collective of Collectives, the attendant executions and destruction would be in part “theatrical.”
There is nothing new under the sun, sigh, one could reference Tuchman’s “Proud Tower’ or this;

Of course, there’s a degree, to which Mr. Donald’s contentions, sometimes are true, re Bely’s Petersburg, where the Azev case,
that of a secret police agent in the SRs, is addressed or the asssasin behind Stolypin, also have Okrana contacts. Now this can be taken too
far, Koba had some of these same contacts, and yet clearly he was an agent of the Russian govt.
